Brampton Engineering appoints Vice President and CFO (September 8, 2003, Brampton, Ontario, Canada) R. L. Bud Smith,
President and Chief Executive Officer at Brampton Engineering (BE)
is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Hussey, C.A., as Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer at BE.
In this new role, Tom will be responsible for all financial aspects
of BE. Smith says, "Tom will be a member of the Management Team and
a key player in helping Brampton Engineering meet our growth and profit
objectives."
Tom comes to BE following a distinguished career in the plastic film
business. He was a founding member of Uniplast (now part of Pliant)
where, as CFO, he was instrumental in growing the business for more
than twenty years. Tom was CFO at PCL Packaging Corp., and most recently
CFO at Wallbridge Mining Company Limited, a public company listed
on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Tom has a broad knowledge of the flexible
packaging industry, and a strong relationship with many of Brampton's
customers.
