The user enters values and this convenient tool calculates various
processing parameters such as line speeds, roll diameters and roll
weights. The program also calculates resin cost per roll. It converts
to and from metric and imperial units.

1.
Double-click on the icon for the
filmcalc.zip file. It should have a distinctive
icon shaped like a filing cabinet in a vise.

This will open up the WinZip application window. The
contents of the archive should be listed.

Select the Extract option. The next window will prompt
for the directory where you'd like the unzipped files
downloaded. Click on the appropriate folder and select
Extract. (NOTE: It can be the same folder where the archive
is located.)

Once this is complete, double-click on the file named
setup.exe (located in the folder you selected in
the previous step) to install the BE Film Calculator.
5.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Film
Calculator.
6.
Once the installation is complete, the Film Calculator
can be run by clicking the Start button and selecting
Programs, then BE Film Calculator.
