ITALYCS®-4 The BE operator-friendly ITALYCS®4
(Integrated Temperature And Line Yield Control System) provides completely
integrated control of all critical components of a blown film line.
With
the increasing complexity of structures and operating parameters processors
need ITALYCS®4 to:

reduce the guesswork in producing blown film

rely on data and recipes for repeatable, precise control.
ITALYCS®4 makes operating a multilayer coextrusion
line almost as easy as running a monolayer line.
For high tech 3-layer lines and multilayer (5-10) lines, this control
system provides complete line control at a stand-alone station and
at a pendant-mounted station located near the die or other designated
location. The two computers of ITALYCS®4, one at each
location, serve as back up for each other.
ITALYCS®4 integrates I-Flex gauge control software
and provides real time and historical trending of important process
values.
This control system allows the operator to:

monitor melt temperature

control blenders, polymer feed, temperature, bubble
cage, line speed, nips and oscillating table

switch displays between metric and
imperial measurements

switch from English to another language

configure alarms (Configurable validation ensures values
entered by operator are within limits.)

save unlimited number of recipes.
ITALYCS®-LT enables total
operator control over a blown film extrusion line of up to three extruders.
It provides:

recipe-based system for fully automated operation of
the line

haul-off control

ability to pre-define the operating conditions

control of the temperature profiles for all extruders
and die zones from recipes

monitoring of melt pressure

coextrusion layer ratio control
