As the melt moves up from the die the flow is directed and cooled by an air ring for external bubble cooling.



The Eliminator Air Ring

The Eliminator provides
· adjustable primary orifice
· secondary cone with independently adjustable vents for maximum flexibility in controlling bubble stability and improving the cooling rate.

The Eliminator has proven to demonstrate
· improved cooling efficiency
· ease of operation
· better lock-in over a wider range of operating conditions which resulted in significant (30-50%) improvement in gauge consistency
· higher output rates (as much as 35%)
· improved clarity
· better roll geometry
· lower blower speeds for quieter operation and less energy consumption.

The Eliminator for all materials including LDPE, LLDPE, mLLDPE, PP, PVC and all coextrusion structures containing PA and EVOH.



UNI-FLO Dual-Lip Air Ring

The UNI-FLO Dual-Lip Air Ring delivers two air streams from a common chamber to the exterior of a blown film bubble
· a gentle stream pre-cools and stabilizes the bubble as it expands upwards along the forming cone
· a high velocity, high volume stream draws the partially cooled bubble radially outwards. This action thins the melt stream to improve thermal conductivity.
